Rising river levels are expected to cause flooding overnight. 
Flooding is expected from overnight on 12 March 2026 . 
Low lying areas near to the river are flooded. Properties close to the Heighington Beck in Heighington are expected to be affected first. Further rain is forecast in this catchment overnight and the river will continue to rise throughout tonight. 
We are monitoring rainfall and river levels . 
Avoid using low lying footpaths and any bridges near local watercourses .
