Flooding expected. Take action now.
River levels have risen rapidly at the Size Bridge river gauge as a result of localised thunderstorms. We believe there is a possibility of flooding for land and some property at Worsley Business Park and Mosley Common Road.
Further thunderstorms are forecast over the next few hours. We expect river levels to remain high.
We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are closely monitoring weather forecasts and river levels and will issue (further) flood warnings if necessary.
Please Removal - stay aware in case further warnings are issued.
This message will be updated this evening, 31/07/19, or as the situation changes.
