Flooding possible. Be prepared.
High tides over the next two days may lead to flooding.
Flooding is possible for 1 hour either side of Friday evening's tide and Saturday afternoon's tide.
Friday's tide is at 23:31 on 05/12/2025. Weather increases tide table values by 0.33 m. Total forecast tide is 5.24 metres Chart Datum (2.51mAOD) at Portsmouth. Strong Westerly Force 5 wind. Saturday's tide at 11:49 on 06/12/2025 is forecast to be 1 cm lower (2.5 mAOD). Strong Westerly Force 5 wind. Levels will be high at South Street and Queen Street Emsworth. The Ship Inn car park at Langstone will flood. Water will flow into the road at Langstone High Street, although flood depths will be relatively shallow, and flooding will only cause impacts nearest to the harbour front.
