Rising river levels are expected to cause flooding this evening and overnight. Flooding is expected from 9:00 PM on Sunday 5th January 2025.
Areas most at risk include properties around Lingfield Common Road and the Ray Brook.
Flooding is expected to continue overnight with further showers expected until midday Monday 6th January 2025.
We are closely monitoring rainfall and river levels.
Use your flood plan if you have one. Activate any property flood protection products you may have. Monitor local water levels and weather conditions. Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water.
