This is a Flood Warning Update. Flooding is still possible and areas most at risk include Bickerley, Ringwood and the B3347 from Christchurch to Stony Lane in Christchurch. River levels remain very high following the recent rainfall and the high groundwater. Further rainfall is forecast for Sunday which may see levels rise. We are closely monitoring the situation. Activate any flood protection products you may have. Please avoid using low lying footpaths and any bridges near local watercourses, and do not attempt to walk, cycle or drive through flood water. Never drive through flood water, just 30cm of fast flowing water is enough to move your car. Check local authority websites for road closures. This message will be updated by 16:00PM on 15 February 2026 or as the situation changes.
