River levels have risen at the Stinsford river gauge as a result of recent wet weather and the ground being saturated. Consequently, flooding is possible through this evening and into tomorrow, 16/2/20. We believe there is a possibility of flooding for areas in Dorchester, West Stafford, Bockhampton, Lewell, Tincleton, Pallington, Waddock, Moreton, Wool and East Stoke. Further heavy rain is forecast with Storm Dennis and we would expect river levels to remain high over the next few days. Please can owners with property flood resilience equipment install it now. Please avoid using low lying footpaths near local watercourses and plan driving routes to avoid low lying roads near rivers, which may be flooded. We are closely monitoring conditions and will update this message as the situation changes.
