Flood warning

High river levels are expected to cause flooding today. Areas most at risk include areas in Dorchester, West Stafford, Bockhampton, Lewell, Tincleton, Pallington, Waddock, Moreton, Wool and East Stoke. Levels at the Stinsford gauge have risen again after yesterdays rain. River levels are starting to fall but further rain is expected throughout today Monday 9 February which will keep river levels high. We are monitoring rainfall and river levels . Monitor local water levels and weather conditions and activate any flood protection products you may have. This message will be updated by 10:00M on 10 February 2026 or as the situation changes.
