Mansbridge and Riverside Park

Warning no longer in force

Water levels in the lower River Itchen remain high but are now falling. In the last 24 hours only 3mm of rain has been recorded in Southampton. Tide levels are also reducing and will have much less of an impact on the river. Some showers continue in Hampshire today, although it is unlikely that this will cause a significant impact. From tomorrow (18/01/2020), the weather remains dry for 5 days, which will give the river a chance to recover.
