Flooding expected. Take action now.
This is an update to the current Flood Warning. River levels remain high due to recent rainfall and high groundwater levels. Flooding is expected at locations around the Middle Hampshire Avon, with low lying land and roads expected to be most affected, particularly around Southampton Road Retail Park, Salisbury Business Park on Dairy Meadow Lane and Dairyhouse Bridge Caravan Site. The weather continues to be unsettled, and further rainfall is expected today and over the next few days, which will keep river levels high. We are closely monitoring the situation. Continue using any flood protection products you may have and acting on your flood plan if you have one. Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water. Never drive through flood water, just 30cm of fast flowing water is enough to move your car. This message will be updated by 3:00PM on 8 February 2026 or as the situation changes.
