Flood warning

This flood warning for the Humber estuary at West Hessle foreshore has been issued as strong winds are expected to cause waves and spray overtopping from 8 PM to 10:30 PM on Sunday 20/02/2022. Areas most at risk include North bank of Humber estuary to the east of Humber Bridge, particularly around Hessle foreshore. We will continue to monitoring the situation. Consider activating any property flood protection products and start acting on your flood plan if you have one. Plan driving routes to avoid low lying roads, which may be flooded. Please stay away from beaches, promenades, coastal footpaths and roads as the expected large waves and spray will be dangerous. This message will be updated as the situation changes.
