Flooding expected. Take action now.
High tides and forecast weather conditions are expected to cause flooding overnight. Flooding is expected on Saturday 16/11/2024, between 02:45 and 05:45. Areas most at risk include the South Pier, Chicken Run Jetty and adjacent car parks off South Cliff Road. We will continue to monitor levels closely. Stay away from beaches, promenades, coastal footpaths and roads, as large waves and sea spray will be dangerous. Consider enacting your flood plan. This message will be updated by 09:00 on Saturday 16/11/2024, or as the situation changes
