Flooding expected. Take action now.
High tides and strong winds are expected to cause flooding from overtopping waves and wind-blown spray between 5:00PM and 7.30PM today, Sunday 30/03/2025.
Flooding is expected to affect areas around the South Pier, Chicken Run Jetty and adjacent car parks off South Cliff Road. Stay away from beaches, promenades, coastal footpaths and roads, as large waves and sea spray will be dangerous. Consider enacting your flood plan.
We are closely monitoring the situation and will update this message by 9:00PM on Sunday 30/03/2025, or as the situation changes.
