Flooding expected. Take action now.
River levels have risen as a result of persistent (heavy) rainfall. Consequently, flooding of property, roads and farmland is possible between midnight and mid-morning on Monday 21/02/2022. Areas most at risk are properties along Oakenshaw at Agbrigg. No significant rainfall is forecast over the next 24 hours, but we expect river levels to remain high throughout Monday morning 21/02/2022.
We are closely monitoring the situation and our incident response staff are checking defences.
Please avoid using low lying footpaths near local watercourses. This message will be updated by 08:20 tomorrow morning, 21/02/2022, or as the situation changes.
