River levels are rising rapidly on the Oil Mill Beck due to heavy rainfall and thunderstorms. Areas most at risk include Properties in Troy, Horsforth Woodside and the south eastern edge of Cragg Hill. Flooding is expected at Properties in Troy, Horsforth Woodside and the south eastern edge of Cragg Hill from 18:00 on 06/05/2024. Further thunderstorms are forecast throughout the evening but should ease overnight.
We will continue to monitor the forecast, local water levels and weather conditions. Consider putting your flood plan into action. You should avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water.
