Flood warning

River levels remain high on Oil Mill Beck following this afternoon's thunderstorms, but are now starting to fall steadily. Rainfall is expected to gradually die away this evening and overnight, therefore levels should continue to fall going into tomorrow, Tuesday 7 May 2024. We will continue to monitor the situation closely.

Surface water is likely to continue to affect low spots on roads for some time - please remain aware of your surroundings and avoid walking or driving through flood water.
