Higher than normal tides are expected to cause flooding this morning.
Flooding is expected from 07:45 am to 11:45 am on 06 December 2025.
Areas most at risk include Lower Hamworthy and areas of Poole from Old Town, The Quay to Hunger Hill. Further flooding is possible this morning due to higher than normal tides combined with South Westerly force 7 winds. Peak water at Poole RNLI tide gauge is 1.4 mAODN at 09:45 today 06 December 2025. (mAODN is height above average sea level.)
We are closely monitoring the situation .
Activate any flood protection products you may have and avoid coastal roads, footpaths and carparks, which may be flooded.
