This Flood Warning has been removed.
The risk of Eggborough and Hensall Ings overtopping and causing property flooding in Hensall has reduced and this flood warning has been removed. However, a Flood Alert remains in force for the wider area, as levels in all the Lower Aire Washlands remain exceptionally high. Please plan driving routes to avoid low lying roads near rivers, which may be flooded and avoid using low lying footpaths near local watercourse. For information on road closures please visit https://bit.ly/32Gye1m. We are working closely with our partners. Our field teams are monitoring the situation in daylight hours and our incident room remains open. No further significant rain is forecast over the next few days, please see the GOV.UK website for a 5 day flood forecast and the Met Office for the latest weather forecast. To report property flooding please call 0800 807060.
