River levels have now fallen below the flood risk threshold, subsequently this Flood Warning is no longer in force.
No further significant rainfall is forecast for the next couple of days and river levels are expected to continue to fall throughout this evening and overnight into tomorrow, Friday 03 January.
Rivers will be responsive to any further rainfall. A period of rain and snow is forecast late on Saturday 04 January into Sunday 05 January. We will continue to closely monitor the forecast and will re-issue this Flood Warning if necessary.
A Flood Alert remains in force for the wider area and flooding of roads and low-lying land is still possible, therefore please avoid using low lying footpaths and roads near local watercourses.
