The movement of water towards Temple Hirst from the Hirst Courtney washlands has eased. As levels remain high, property flooding may still occur. This risk will remain until levels on the Aire fall enough to allow the washlands to drain. The rainfall today (29/02/20) and overnight will see levels on the Aire today slowing drainage from washlands. Please be vigilant. Properties in and around Temple Hirst are most at risk, and flooding continues to affect the road into Hirst Courtney. Put your flood plan into action.
