Flood alert

Forecast high river levels throughout the morning may lead to flooding. Flooding is possible from the morning of 09 December 2025 . Locations most affected will be the River Aire from Stockbridge to Castleford, including Bradford Beck, Oulton Beck and Kippax Beck. We are closely monitoring the situation. Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water and consider acting on your flood plan if you have one. This message will be updated by 8:00PM on 09 December 2025 or as the situation changes.
