Flooding expected. Take action now.
The River Aire has risen in response to the overnight rainfall. Property flooding is expected to occur. Levels should peak around 09:00 this morning before slowly falling during the day. Further rain is expected today so river levels are likely to respond again.
Please put your flood plan into action and take care when near washlands and low-lying land, which could be flooded. Avoid using low-lying footpaths near local watercourses, and do not drive through floodwater.
