Flooding expected. Take action now.
River levels are rising rapidly on the River Asker after tonights heavy rainfall. Flooding is possible to properties in Askerswell, Uploders, Yondover and Loders. Flooding of property is possible between 04:00 AM and 10:00 AM on 04/12/2023. We are monitoring rainfall and river levels and are checking rivers for blockages in the area. Avoid using low lying footpaths and any bridges near local watercourses and do not attempt to walk or drive through flood water. Monitor local water levels and weather conditions. Consider putting your flood plan into action. You should avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water. Residents are strongly urged to take action now. Remain safe and be aware of your surroundings. This message will be updated by 10:00 AM on 05/12/2023, or as the situation changes.
