River levels are rising steadily in response to this evening's rainfall. Flooding is possible from now until tomorrow morning, 05/01/24. Areas most at risk are Old Mead Road in Henham, North Hall Road in Quendon, London Road, Station Road, High Street, Bridge End, Willow Vale, Bury Water Lane, Belmont Hill and Cambridge Road in Newport, Duck Street in Wendons Ambo, Mill Lane and Walden Road in Littlebury. Further rainfall is expected over the next 12 hours which will keep river levels high. Be ready to take action to protect your property if flooding is expected. We are monitoring the situation. We will update this message by 9am tomorrow, 05/01/24.
