Flooding expected. Take action now.
No further property flooding is expected.
River levels are now falling on the River Coln following high levels as a result of previous heavy rain. Existing property flooding may continue, especially in the Fairford and Lechlade areas.
Overnight is forecast to be mainly dry, but with the possibility of isolated showers. We expect river levels to continue to fall over the coming days, but levels may respond to any further rainfall.
We are closely monitoring the situation.
Please remain safe and aware of your local surroundings, avoid contact with floodwater, and refer to the 'River and Sea levels in England' webpage for current river levels.
This message will be updated tomorrow morning, 29/12/20, or as the situation changes.
