Flooding expected. Take action now.
River levels have now fallen below the flood risk threshold at the Derby St Marys river gauge. Flooding of low-lying roads and farmland is still possible. Areas most at risk are Allestree Ford Lane Bridge, Darley Abbey Park, including Duke Street, Bath Street, River Street, Folly Road and Haslams Lane.
We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are patrolling watercourses in the area.
Please avoid using low-lying footpaths near local watercourses and avoid contact with flood water.
