Flooding expected. Take action now.
Rising river levels are expected to cause flooding today.
Flooding is expected from the early hours of 09 December 2025 .
Properties and low lying areas will start to flood from Tuesday morning.
The main areas of concern are properties and low lying areas around Coulson Park, the Sewage Treatment Works, Lostwithiel Railway Station, Quay Street, and properties along The Parade. Flood waters may be deep and fast flowing in these areas.
River levels are forecast to be high all day with flooding expected to commence from 08:00am.
High tide at Fowey on Tuesday morning is at 08:24am. Tide locking may increase flood levels.
We are closely monitoring the situation .
Activate any flood protection products you may have .
