Flood alert

Rising river levels today may lead to flooding. 
Flooding is possible from the evening of 08 February 2026 . 
Areas most at risk are low-lying recreational areas and roads including High School playing fields on Valley Road and other low lying land and recreational areas, low lying land and roads around the Tottle Brook. Rainfall is forecast over the next 48 hours. River levels at Bulwell Gauge will begin rising at 17:00 on 08/02/26. 
We are closely monitoring the situation . 
Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water . 
This message will be updated by 10:00AM on 09 February 2026 or as the situation changes.
