Flood warning

Property flooding is expected. River levels are falling on the River Ock but will remain responsive to rainfall over the coming days. Therefore, flooding of properties closest to the river is expected to continue today, 25/09/24, in the Abingdon area. Areas most at risk are Nash Drive, Chaunterell Way, Mill Paddock, Orpwood Way and St Helens Mill. Further rainfall is forecast overnight and Thursday evening / night with the potential to be heavy at times. THis message will be updated on Thursday morning, 26/09/2024, or as the situation changes.
