Flooding expected. Take action now.

Flood warning

Property flooding is expected.

River levels are high and rising on the River Ock following heavy rainfall from Storm Bert and water moving downstream. Therefore, flooding of property and roads is expected to continue overnight 27/11/2024. Areas most at risk are properties located on Nash Drive, Meadowside and Chaunterell Way.

This evening and overnight are forecast to be mainly dry. River levels are expected to continue to rise today but start to level off later in the week. Levels remain sensitive to further rainfall and may rise again in response to forecast rainfall.

We are monitoring the situation. Our staff are liaising with councils and emergency services. Move possessions and valuables off the ground or to safety. Activate any property flood protection products such as flood barriers.

This message will be updated tomorrow morning, 28/11/2024, or as the situation changes.
