Warning no longer in force

This Flood Warning has now been removed. Please note that a Flood Alert remains in force for the wider area, so flooding of roads and low-lying land is still possible. No property flooding is expected today.

Catchments are now saturated, and rivers will be responsive to further rain. Showers are forecast on Friday, followed by a band of heavier rain overnight and into Saturday. This overnight rain will be heavy at times and is likely to cause rivers to rise again.

Please be aware that this flood warning may be re-issued again in the coming days.

We continue to monitor the situation closely and we have Field Teams out inspecting assets. Continue to take care on riverside roads and footpaths and don't put yourself in unnecessary danger. Please see the GOV.UK website for a 5 day flood forecast.
