Flood warning

River levels are rising on the Parrett at Chiselborough as a result of heavy rainfall overnight. 
Flooding is expected from 7:00 AM on 30/09/2024. Further rainfall is forecast over the next 24 hours.
Flooding is forecast to affect locations near the River Parrett, with low lying land and roads expected to be most affected, particularly around the River Parrett downstream of Gawbridge and fields at Thorney and Kingsbury Episcopi.
Further flooding is expected throughout the morning as river levels are rising due to heavy rainfall.
We are closely monitoring the situation and closely monitoring the situation.

Never drive through flood water, just 30cm of fast flowing water is enough to move your car.
