Flooding expected. Take action now.
High river levels are expected to cause flooding this evening.
Flooding is expected from 7:30 PM on 31/12/2024. River levels are expected to remain high overnight.
Flooding is forecast to affect locations near the River Ribble, with low lying land and roads expected to be most affected, particularly around Higher Croft, Harwood House and car park off Greenside, Waterside Farm, Yew Tree Cottage, Beech House, Thorncroft, properties near Ease Barn Farm on Gallows Lane, the Ribchester Arms and 19 to 22 Blackburn Road.
We are clearing debris from weed screens and closely monitoring the situation.
Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water.
Please do not drive through floodwater as bow waves may affect adjacent properties.
