River levels are rising steadily on the River Ribble due to heavy rainfall.
This Flood Warning has been issued because flooding is expected throughout the morning on 31/12/2021 between 01:00 AM and 10:00 AM.
Areas most at risk include Higher Croft, Harwood House and car park off Greenside, Waterside Farm, Yew Tree Cottage, Beech House, Thorncroft, properties near Ease Barn Farm on Gallows Lane, the Ribchester Arms and 19 to 22 Blackburn Road.
Flooding is expected at Higher Croft, Harwood House and car park off Greenside, Waterside Farm, Yew Tree Cottage, Beech House, Thorncroft, properties near Ease Barn Farm on Gallows Lane, the Ribchester Arms and 19 to 22 Blackburn Road from 01:00 AM on 31/12/2021.
River levels are expected to remain high throughout the morning.
We will continue to monitor levels closely.
Avoid using low lying footpaths and any bridges near local watercourses and do not attempt to walk or drive through flood water.
