This flood warning is no longer in force. River levels have continued to fall in the lower River Rother and there is no longer a threat of further flooding, though standing water and debris may still remain. Flooding has affected low-lying land near the watercourse, particularly in the Catcliffe area. Further showers are forecast over the next few days, though impacts are expected to be minimal. Our incident room remains open, and we are closely monitoring the forecast. Our operational staff have been on site in the Catcliffe and Treeton area, and will continue to monitor the situation today, 25/10/2023.
