Warning no longer in force

We are removing this flood warning as river levels have dropped significantly following yesterday’s heavy rainfall and are now below levels of concern.

Whilst some rain is expected today, Tuesday 01/10/24, we do not expect levels to respond significantly. Weather conditions are expected to improve throughout Tuesday and no further significant rainfall is expected over the coming days.

Standing water may remain for some time, so continue to take care on waterside roads and footpaths and don't put yourself in unnecessary danger.

We will continue to monitor the situation.
