River Seven at Great Barugh

Flooding expected. Take action now.

Flood warning

River levels are rising in the Seven catchment due to heavy rainfall associated with Storm Darragh. Flooding is forecast to affect locations near Great Barugh, including Willow Garth Caravan Site, with low lying land expected to be most affected tonight, Saturday 07/12/2024. Further rainfall is forecast overnight and river levels are expected to remain high. Avoid using low lying footpaths and any bridges near local watercourses and do not attempt to walk or drive through flood water. Start acting on your flood plan if you have one. We are monitoring river levels and rainfall and will update this message by 2:30am on Sunday, 08/12/24, or as the situation changes.
