River levels on the River Seven remain high following rainfall associated with Storm Darragh. Flooding is expected today, Sunday 8/12/2024. Areas most at risk include properties in the village of Normanby, including Malton Road and Barugh Lane. Further rainfall is forecast this morning. We are closely monitoring the situation. Start acting on your flood plan if you have one. Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water. This message will be updated by 4:00pm on 08/12/2024, or as the situation changes.
