The flood warning for the River Seven at Normanby remains in force. The river level has risen as a result of heavy rainfall. The river level at Normanby is currently 3.29m. Flooding is likely along Marton Road. No further significant rainfall is expected today, Thursday 21/01/2021. Please avoid using low lying footpaths near local water courses, and plan driving routes to avoid low lying roads near rivers, which may be flooded. See the GOV.UK website for a 5 day flood forecast and river levels. We are monitoring the situation closely, and will update this message in 8 hours, or as the situation changes.
