Flooding expected. Take action now.
River levels are rising at the Bridgnorth river gauge as a result of heavy rainfall. Consequently, flooding of property, roads and farmland is possible this evening and into tomorrow. We expect flooding to affect properties on Telford Road.
Predicted Peak: Bridgnorth 4.7m to 5.0m on Thursday Evening, 04/01/24.
Further rainfall is forecast over the next few days.
We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are liaising with emergency services and or Local Authorities. Please plan driving routes to avoid low lying roads near rivers, which may be flooded and avoid using low lying footpaths near local watercourses.
