Flooding expected. Take action now.
River levels are high but continue to fall at the Montford river gauge. Consequently, flooding of property, roads and farmland is expected to continue. We expect flooding to affect properties in the Montford Bridge area and the B4380 at Montford Bridge.
Montford Peaked at 6.58m on Wednesday evening, 03/01/24.
Some heavy showers are forecast today, 05/01/24, but no further significant rainfall is expected. We expect river levels to remain high over the next few days. We are closely monitoring the situation. Please avoid using low lying footpaths near local watercourses and plan driving routes to avoid low lying roads near rivers, which may be flooded.
