Flood warning

River levels are forecast to rise at the Colston Bassett river gauge. Flooding could occur between 03:00 and 06:00 on 02/01/2024, but there is low confidence given the unpredictable nature of frontal rainfall, which may include thunderstorms. Areas most at risk are Shelton Lodge Farm, and Port Grange Farm, near Thoroton.
Further rainfall is forecast over the next 24 hours.
We are closely monitoring the situation.
Please move possessions and valuables off the ground or to safety and avoid contact with flood water.
