Flooding expected. Take action now.
River levels are rising at the Pillings Lock river gauge as a result of heavy rainfall. Consequently, flooding of property is expected from 23:00 today, 06/01/25. Areas most at risk are Cossington, including Cossington Grange, Cossington Mill, Old Mill areas and Cossington Meadows Nature Reserve.
No further rainfall is forecast. We expect river levels to remain high throughout tomorrow, 07/01/25
We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are patrolling watercourses in the area.
Please move possessions and valuables off the ground or to safety and avoid contact with flood water.
