Flooding expected. Take action now.
River levels are high, but are beginning to fall at the Pillings Lock river gauge as a result of heavy rainfall. Consequently, flooding of property continues during Tuesday 07/01/25. Areas most at risk are Cossington, including Cossington Grange, Cossington Mill, Old Mill areas and Cossington Meadows Nature Reserve.
No further significant rainfall is forecast. We expect river levels to remain high, but continue to fall over the next 48 hours.
We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are patrolling watercourses in the area.
Please take photographs of any flood damage, seek specialist advice before cleaning or repairing after flood damage and
avoid contact with flood water.
