Flooding expected. Take action now.

Flood warning

The flood warning for the River Swale at Topcliffe remains in force. The river level at Maunby is falling and the river level at Crakehill is also falling. No further significant rainfall is expected in the next 24 hours. Areas most at risk are Topcliffe Mill and the caravan park. The access road to Catton Lane and Mill Lane may also flood. We are closely monitoring the situation. Please plan driving routes to avoid low lying roads near rivers, which may be flooded. Please see the GOV.UK website for a 5 day flood forecast and for current river levels. This message will be updated in 8 hours, or as the situation changes.
