Flood warning

The flood warning for the River Swale at Topcliffe remains in force. River levels are now falling slowly but will remain high for the rest of today, Monday 21/02/2022. Flooding is forecast to affect locations near the River Swale, with low lying land expected to be most affected, particularly around Properties at Topcliffe and Topcliffe Mill. Avoid using low lying footpaths and any bridges near local watercourses and do not attempt to walk or drive through flood water. Plan driving routes to avoid low lying roads near rivers, which may be flooded. Visit the GOV.UK website for a 5 day flood forecast and up to date river levels. This message will be updated by this evening 21/02/2022.
