Flooding expected. Take action now.
River levels are rising at the Knightsford Bridge river gauge as a result of rapid snowmelt and rain. Consequently, flooding of roads and farmland is possible today, 06/01/25. We expect flooding to affect roads in the Leigh area.
Further rainfall is forecast over the next 24 hours.
We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are liaising with emergency services and or Local Authorities.
Please avoid using low lying footpaths near local watercourses and plan driving routes to avoid low lying roads near rivers, which may be flooded.
This message will be updated by 10am on 07/01/25, or as the situation changes.
