Flood warning

Property flooding is possible.
River levels remain high but are very slowly dropping on the River Thame following persistent rainfall. Therefore, the possibility of property flooding remains overnight tonight (17/01/21), especially for properties closest to the River Thame.
The forecast for tonight and tomorrow is predominantly dry. Levels are expected to continue slowly dropping overnight.
We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff have been in the area clearing weed/trash screens.
Please avoid using low lying footpaths near local watercourses and avoid contact with flood water. Refer to the 'River and Sea levels in England' webpage for current river levels.
This message will be updated tomorrow morning, 17/01/21, or as the situation changes.
