Flooding expected. Take action now.
Property flooding is possible.
River levels are slowly rising on the River Thames as a result of a period of sustained rain. Therefore, flooding of property and roads is possible later this evening 08/01/24, especially in the Straight Road area of Old Windsor. It is forecast to be dry overnight 08/01/24 and into tomorrow. We expect river levels to rise until later this evening 08/01/24. We are monitoring the situation.
Move possessions and valuables off the ground or to safety. Activate any property flood protection products such as flood barriers. Go to the 'River and Sea levels in England' webpage for current river levels.
This message will be updated tomorrow, 09/01/24, or as the situation changes.
