Flood warning

Property flooding is possible.

River levels remain high on the River Thames in response to recent rainfall. Therefore, flooding of property and roads is possible today 09/01/24, especially around the Straight Road area of Old Windsor. It is forecast to be dry overnight, 09/01/24 and into tomorrow. We expect river levels to rise until later this evening 09/01/24. We are monitoring the situation.

The forecast today, 09/01/24, is for mostly dry conditions, with a dry forecast for the next few days. We expect river levels to remain high over the next few days as water moves through the system.

Move possessions and valuables off the ground or to safety. Activate any property flood protection products such as flood barriers. Our staff are liaising with councils and emergency services. Go to the 'River and Sea levels in England' webpage for current river levels.

This message will be updated tomorrow, 10/01/24, or as the situation changes.
