Flooding expected. Take action now.

Flood warning

Rising river levels are expected to cause flooding today. 
Flooding is expected on 09 December 2025 . 
Heavy rain falling in the area will continue throughout the day.

Properties and low lying areas will start to flood from around midday today. The main areas of concern are Taddiport (properties around Taddiport Bridge, Sewage Treatment Works and B3227) and Weare Giffard (riverside properties and roads). Flood waters may be deep and fast flowing in these areas. 
We are closely monitoring the situation . 
Activate any flood protection products you may have . 
This message will be updated by 8:00PM on 09 December 2025 or as the situation changes.
